About Our Practice
We are a holistic practice providing natural solutions to a wide range of health problems. We believe most conditions, if not genetic in nature, are stress related.
There are 3 types of stress:
1. Physical - Trauma, accidents, sports, etc... which can damage not only muscles, but nerves. Undetected nerve damage can lead to big problems since nerves control all functions in the body. This is resolved with specific chiropractic care.
2. Hormonal - Chronic emotional and/or job and family stress can lead to dysfunction of the adrenal glands. These glands secrete hormones that control sleep, digestion, weight gain, estrogen, progesterone, testosterone, allergies, asthma, immune function, and energy levels. Hormone function can be balanced with diet and supplementation.
3. Chemical - Pollution of our air, food, and water supplies have a disastrous effect on ones health. Toxic chemicals are surrounded by fat cells in the body to protect internal organs. Many people have difficulty losing weight or quickly "rebound" from diets due to toxic overload. Nutritional cleansing of the liver is the most effective method to reduce this chemical load.
