About Our Practice
When Houma native Beau I. Porche, D.C. attended Nicholls State University in Thibodaux, he knew he wanted to become a chiropractor. He never considered becoming any other type of physician. After attending Nicholls State for his undergraduate studies he continued his education at Texas Chiropractic College. Porche graduated in 2004 after completing his chiropractic internship at The Moody Health Center in Pasadena, Texas. Shortly after joining Dr. Jake Bordelon in their Houma practice Porche saw the need for a chiropractic clinic in Thibodaux, and he now sees patients in both the Houma & Thibodaux clinic every week. Along with his general chiropractic practice, he has also developed a special interest in Decompression therapy. His clinic was the 1st in Houma to offer this non-surgical treatment for bulging/herniated discs. He has extensive training in whiplash & brain traumatology that can be caused by Motor Vehicle Accidents. He loves treating athletes & has taken care of local high school & college athletes, along with players in the NFL. Beau & his wife Aimee, an elementary school teacher, have 1 son, Foster, age 2. He serves on the board of directors for the Thibodaux Chamber of Commerce, is a member of the American Chiropractic Association & the Chiropractic Association of Louisiana.
