About Our Practice
Dr. Gary W. Sanders has been in practice for 16 years and certified in acupuncture since 1996 (8years).
Our purpose is to provide the safest and most effective care for all ages. Safe, gentle, specific and effective techniques are used for infants, children, adolesents, adults and the elderly. Each patient is evaluated for their individual needs and the safest and most effective type of care is then determined.
We see patients who are injured, who are ill, who want to improve their health, who want to improve athletic performance and who want to maintain their health.
The techniques we use accomadate the needs of the patient and the patients ability to tolerate the treatment.
A patients condition may be best treated by chiropractic, or acupuncture or a conbination of both.

Our first priority is to determine if we can help, or if the patient needs to be referred. Once determined that we can help a patient is informed of what we believe the problem is, how we can help, how long it will take and how much treatment will cost.

We offer 4 types of care to our patients based on their needs.
1) Maintenance/Wellness care: This person has no major symptoms and wants to stay as healthy as possible by reducing stress in the spine with regular adjustments. Most maintenance patients are seen on a monthly basis.

2) Acute care: Patients with new injuries or illnesses
3) Chronic care: Patients with a condition that has lasted for more than 3 weeks
4) Supportive care: For patients with permanent/recurring symptoms that need to be seen regularly to control chronic pain or illness.

Acupuncture: Dr. Sanders is educated in both traditional and modern acupuncture.
Traditional:Needles are used to treat specific points to improve health.
Modern: Microcurrent is used thru a cotton Q-tip to stimulate specific points without the
use of needles. (many patients prefer not to have needles, this technique is just as
as needles and much quicker.

Over 2000 conditions are listed in acupuncture text that are treatable with acupuncture.

Chiropractic restores motion/movement and function to the neuromusculoskeletal systems.

Both chiropractic and acupuncture treat the body and its systems, rather than a symptom.

Your health and the health of your families is our primary concern.
